In compliance with the provisions of the Mexican Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (the “Law”), Wisest Travel offers the following Privacy Data Protection Notice:
Responsible for the protection and processing of personal data: Our Company, Wisest Travel and its brands (CancunShuttle.travel, MayanRuins.travel, AirportCancun.travel, and Wisest.travel), established at Av. Huayacan Sm 311 Mz 33 Lote 1-02, Local 301. Alamos I,II, Cancún, Quintana Roo, CP 77533.
Means of obtaining personal data and collected data: The personal data of Wisest Travel obtained from you will be used only for the purposes described in this privacy notice and may be collected: Directly, either through our reservation representatives, personally, or through our reservation call center. Entering data or using services online through different web pages, or any of our own brands. The data collected by Wisest Travel will include: Full name with given names, phone number, email address, address, and financial information such as: credit card number, cardholder’s name, expiration date, security code, and any other data necessary to complete the reservation requested by you.
Sensitive personal data: To fulfill the purposes detailed in this privacy notice, sensitive personal data may also be collected and processed, such as fitness, health, disability, medical histories, among others. Your sensitive personal data will be treated with the strictest security measures to ensure confidentiality.
Purpose of the personal data obtained: Your personal data will be used for the purpose of processing, monitoring, updating, modifying, canceling, and confirming the services you booked with Wisest Travel directly or one of the brands or affiliates.
Transfer of data, nationally and internationally: Your personal data will NOT be transferred and/or shared with the following: third-party business partners, affiliates, suppliers, financial institutions, banks, and credit institutions, subsidiaries, affiliates, and affiliates; such as hotels, lessors, airlines, tour providers, etc., to confirm your reservations.
Exercise of rights, rectification, access, cancellation, opposition (“ARCO rights”): The Law grants four rights to exercise: · Access to your personal data to know what is safeguarded, if they are correct or updated and for what applications they are used. Rectification if it is inaccurate, incorrect, or outdated. Cancellation consisting of the deletion of personal data when it is considered that they are not being used to fulfill the purposes established in this Privacy Notice. Opposition to the processing of personal data for any of the purposes set forth in this Privacy Notice.
Right to revoke your consent to data processing: You have the right to revoke consent for the processing of personal data. You can revoke your consent to receive promotions and offers via telephone or email, following the procedure established in the following point 8. However, Wisest Travel prefers to keep personal information in its database to better serve you in the future, allowing it to better understand your needs based on your history and thus better serve your future reservations.
Mechanisms for exercising ARCO Rights and Revocation of consent for data processing: To exercise your ARCO rights or the right to revoke consent for the processing of personal data, you must submit your respective request in writing in English or Spanish and send it to Wisest Travel through the following email address: info@wisest.travel, the area of privacy and information security. For more information, you can directly contact the Privacy and Information Security area of Wisest Travel by email. Your written request must include your full name, attach a copy of the official identification, indicate your email or designated physical address for notifications, and a contact phone number. Alternatively, Wisest Travel will provide you with the ARCO rights request form once you contact us. Wisest Travel will follow up on your request within 20 business days after receiving the request with complete documentation.
Changes to this privacy notice: The Wisest Travel group reserves the right to make changes at any time or update this Privacy Notice. The changes or updates made will take effect when published on the website in Data Privacy Policies and on the sites of its other brands or in any medium it uses for publication, so we recommend continuous review.
Express acceptance of the Privacy Policy. The Wisest Travel group suggests reading this Privacy Notice to understand the use of your data. This constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Notice.
