Terms and Conditions of Wisest Travel

 

Wisest Travel states:

Our Company, Wisest Travel (CancunShuttle.travel, MayanRuins.travel, AirportCancun.travel, and Wisest.travel) serves as an intermediary between the customer and the provider of goods and services. Wisest Travel has established commercial negotiations with its own standards of quality and service, such as, among others, ground transportation and other tourism-related activities, such as tours and excursions, choosing only the most qualified and prestigious suppliers in the market.

The photos displayed on our website are representative and do not guarantee an accurate representation. The category assigned to the services is based on Wisest Travel’s interpretation and may differ from the categories shown elsewhere.

Wisest Travel for AirportCancun.travel, CancunShuttle.travel, and Wisest.travel are authorized transport from the Airports where they operate.

 

Booking Conditions:

The rates shown on our website or requested by email or phone are valid until midnight of the same day. All rates apply specifically to the requested service; otherwise, rates may vary. A reservation is considered complete when it has a confirmation number and the corresponding charge has been applied.

By making the reservation, you agree to our terms and conditions.

All reservations are subject to availability until the transaction has been processed. Availability cannot be guaranteed until full payment for the service has been made.

We accept reservations 24/7; however, reservations made with more than 24 hours in advance are only guaranteed. For reservations made with less than 24 hours, our customer service staff will do their best to accommodate you; otherwise, you will be notified by email and offered a similar service or an alternative.

 

Payment Policies:

Wisest Travel offers various payment methods such as credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club), debit card, or PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. For Mexico, we also offer payment at Oxxos and bank transfer.

The total amount of your reservation will be charged through a payment link to your credit/debit card or PayPal account and will appear on your statement as PAYPALWISESTTRAVE or PAYPALWISESTRAVEL or WWW.WISEST.TRAVEL or WISESTTRAV.

On our website, our rates are published in US dollars (USD). If you have a bank account in another currency, your bank or credit card company will convert the currency. The transaction amount will be converted from US dollars to the exchange rates prevailing on the transaction date. Please note that the amount shown on your credit card receipt may vary by up to three percent. We also offer billing in different currencies; please contact our customer service for more information.

 

Customer Responsibility:

It is the customer’s responsibility to obtain the necessary travel documents, such as passports, visas, and certificates.

If the customer does not follow the instructions, including, among others, departure times, hotel check-in and check-out times, coupon redemption policy, cancellation, or change for any reason of the services offered, Wisest Travel is not responsible for the loss of service.

It is the customer’s responsibility to provide all necessary data for the scheduling of the contracted service, such as the name of the hotel or pick-up and drop-off location, complete flight details (airline name, flight number(s), arrival or departure time).

For both tours and transportation services, it is the customer’s responsibility to inform themselves about their departure time.

 

Security and Protection:

Wisest Travel and its partners strictly adhere to health, hygiene, and safety laws, regulations, and standards.

 

Lost Items:

Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. We make every effort to return items left in our vehicles to their owners, but we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Any charge incurred in returning an item left on board to its owner must be paid by the owner.

Many bags look alike. Our drivers cannot be responsible for remembering which bag belongs to which passenger. When you arrive at your destination, please make sure you have retrieved all your belongings and that each bag, briefcase, computer, etc. is yours.

 

Schedules:

All transportation services, including arrival/departure pickup times or any tour, are approximate. The unit may be delayed due to weather, traffic, or operational reasons.

For any service departing from a hotel or any other location, there will be a maximum tolerance of 5 minutes; after this time, the service is considered a “no-show,” so no refund applies. In most cases, the possibility of rescheduling will be offered depending on availability. The rescheduling of a “no-show” has a cost; the Customer Service department will inform you of the cost to reschedule your activity.

For transportation services from the airport, we will track the runways and wait a reasonable amount of time for a guest to pass through. We will reschedule a transfer if we have been informed before a flight change. We are not responsible if you have any situation that delays you within the terminal, such as timeshares, luggage problems, customs, immigration, etc. After 90 minutes past the flight arrival time, if a passenger has not yet appeared, it will be considered a no-show, and the costs incurred will be paid by them.

The pickup time, on arrival, departure, or any tour is approximate; the unit may be delayed depending on the weather and traffic, among others. For any service departing from a hotel or any other location, there will be a maximum tolerance of 5 minutes; after this period, the service is considered not shown, so no refund applies.

 

Cancellation and Changes Policies:

To receive a full refund, travelers may cancel up to 24 hours before the start time of the experience in the local time zone. No refunds will be made after that period.

To make changes to the reservation, travelers can do so up to 24 hours before the start time of the experience in the local time zone. No changes will be allowed after that period.

Combos do not apply for partial refunds. A combo is considered a single service. If you want to do only part of the contracted combo, the cancellation does not correspond to a refund, even meeting the required deadline.

In the case of cash payment through bank deposit or convenience stores, no refund will be applied; we will provide you with a future travel voucher.

 

 

Complaints and Claims Procedures:

Any claim or complaint must be addressed by email or through any communication channel established by Wisest Travel and must be received no later than fourteen (14) days after the service is used.

Wisest Travel is not responsible for any claim, cost, or expense arising from loss of enjoyment, anger, disappointment, distress, or frustration.

In the case of refunds and/or compensation, Wisest Travel’s liability is limited to refunding the amount paid for the service.

If you are not satisfied with the service of one of our agents, speak to one of the managers.

 

Call Center and Contact, Customer Service:

After any reservation, one of our customer service agents may contact you by phone or email to inform you of any changes and confirm your details. See our data privacy policy. Our call center agents are well trained and fully aware of the rules, conditions, policies, and guidelines.

 

Future Travel Voucher Policy:

The generated future travel vouchers are valid for 12 months from the creation date. You can use these vouchers at any destination on tours, transfers offered directly by Wisest Travel or through different brands: www.cancunshuttle.travel, www.airportcancun.travel, www.mayanruins.travel, and www.wisest.travel. You can use these vouchers directly on our website or at our experience center. One of our agents will be happy to assist you.

 

Wildlife Activity:

Wisest Travel values nature as a key point of our organization. Therefore, we are against any animal cruelty, exploitation, or other, so we do not offer any wildlife activities in captivity. We only offer activities with wild animals in their natural and free environment, and in certain cases, we offer activities with domesticated animals such as horses or camels.

 

Diversity:

Wisest Travel does not practice or tolerate any form of discrimination, exercises equality in its guests, suppliers, and employees, and respects them regardless of their status. At Wisest Travel, we believe that diversity enriches organizations.

 

Applicable Law:

All terms and conditions, as well as any legal dispute related to the services provided by Wisest Travel, shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the state of Quintana Roo, Mexico. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions, including any dispute related to its existence, validity, or termination, shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Cancun, Quintana Roo. By accepting these terms and conditions, you irrevocably consent to the jurisdiction and competence of such courts in relation to any dispute or claim mentioned above.
